Biography
Brendan Liberati is an Associate in the firm’s Westport office. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York. Brendan’s practice focuses primarily on municipal law and trusts & estates.
Brendan graduated from Colgate University magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2018. He worked as a Litigation Assistant before beginning law school at UCONN in the fall of 2019.
During his time in law school, Brendan was Lead Articles Editor for the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal. He served as a Trust & Estates summer associate, participated in a transactional law clinic, and contributed to the COVID Coverage Litigation Tracker.
After graduating in May 2022, Brendan was an associate attorney at a firm in Brewster, New York. During his time there, Brendan represented multiple municipalities, fire districts, and fire departments in New York, as well as private clients in the fields of trust & estates, real estate, corporate law, and land use. Brendan then joined Berchem Moses in 2026.
Brendan currently serves as an alternate member of the Town of Monroe Zoning Board of Appeals.
In addition to his professional achievements, Brendan loves spending time with his wife and son, playing volleyball, volunteering within his local community, and scuba diving. Brendan is also an avid traveler, having visited approximately fifteen countries.
