Legal Secretary/Assistant/Paralegal – Milford Office
Litigation Department

Applicants must be highly skilled in multi-tasking, organization, verbal and written communication. This position requires someone who is a self-starter with a strong initiative as well as the ability to be a team player.  Qualifications include knowledge of legal terminology, legal forms and court/agency fillings, as well as strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, document management software and time and billing software. Minimum of 3 years law firm experience is required. Insurance Defense and Federal Court experience a plus.

Legal Assistant/Paralegal – Westport Office
Litigation and Municipal Departments

Minimum qualifications require at least 3 years of law firm experience, as well as knowledge and experience with the following: document management and time/billing software systems, managing litigation files, filing pleadings in the CT judicial branch system, preparing form documents and discovery requests, and providing draft responses to discovery requests. Experience providing support for work associated with municipal agencies, including land use and zoning, would be a plus, but not required.
