Alessandra Pellegrino Pulit is an Associate in the Education Department at the Milford office.  Ms. Pulit concentrates her practice in the areas of education law and labor and employment.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Pulit worked at a law firm in Westchester County, New York, representing boards of education in Westchester, Orange, and Ulster Counties in residency, student discipline, and teacher discipline and termination matters in administrative hearings, appeals, and federal courts.  Ms. Pulit also served the boards of education in a general counsel capacity.  Originally from Connecticut, Ms. Pulit is passionate in her work for school districts and has “come home” to serve the school communities in the State she loves.

Ms. Pulit is a graduate of Pace Law School, where she was President of the Italian-American Law Organization, a Student Mentor, and a Student Attorney at the John Jay Legal Services’ Health Law and Disability Rights Clinic.  Ms. Pulit also participated the 2019 American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition in Brooklyn, NY and the 2019 International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition Regional Round for the Americas in White Plains, NY.  While at Pace, Ms. Pulit interned at various law firms around Connecticut, including a small practice representing students in special education matters.  Before attending law school, Ms. Pulit studied History with minors in Political Science and Philosophy at Salve Regina University in Newport, RI.

Throughout her undergraduate career and following her graduation from Salve Regina in 2014, Ms. Pulit worked in the Cheshire Public Schools in Cheshire, CT as both a substitute teacher during the school year and summer school instructional assistant for self-contained classrooms in their Extended School Year program.  For 6 years, she worked closely with students with mild to severe disabilities in the classroom, delivering instruction, implementing Individualized Education Plans, and assisting main classroom teachers in classroom management and instruction.

Ms. Pulit is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut, the State of New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit
