For the second year in a row, Berchem Moses PC’s Social Action Committee and staff have rallied behind Sterling House Community Center’s Back-to-School Drive. This year, when the Center put out the call for 50 backpacks filled with supplies like pencil cases and notebooks, the firm once again stepped up.
The effort was led by Maria Deleo, who coordinated the collection, assembly, and delivery of the school-ready backpacks for local students. Sterling House, a community cornerstone, offers programs ranging from preschool and after-school care to summer camps, athletics, and food pantry services.
To bring the initiative full circle, LeAnne Reynolds, Director of Resource Connection at Sterling House, visited the firm to pick up the donated backpacks and ensure they made it into the hands of the children who need them most.
