Berchem Moses PC Receives Volunteer Of The Year Award From Alpha Community Services YMCA

Berchem Moses PC recently received an award from the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA as the “Adult Community Services Volunteer of the Year for Alpha Community Services” in recognition of the firm’s annual holiday gift giving to underprivileged families in the Greater Bridgeport Area. The YMCA’s 159th Annual Volunteer Celebration was held at Grassy Hill Country Club in Orange, CT.

For five consecutive years the staff at Berchem Moses PC, led by Attorney Carolyn Dugas, has donated gifts through the Bridgeport Alpha Community Services YMCA to benefit area families. More than 154 gifts were donated in 2017 to help spread holiday cheer to those in need…an amazing team effort! Attorney John Khalil was also instrumental in assisting with the program.

Alpha Community Services became a branch of the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA in 1992 and for the past 24 plus years, the community has come to rely on the organization to provide a sense of community, hope and a safe place to belong to a growing population of homeless men, women and children.
