Berchem Moses PC Welcomes Brendan Liberati as Associate in Westport Office

Berchem Moses is pleased to announce that Brendan Liberati has joined the firm as an Associate in its Westport office. Brendan is admitted to practice in both Connecticut and New York and focuses his practice on municipal law and trusts & estates.

Brendan brings a strong academic background and a breadth of practical experience to the firm. He graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a Litigation Assistant before enrolling at the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2019.

During law school, Brendan served as Lead Articles Editor for the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal. He also gained valuable hands-on experience as a Trust & Estates summer associate, participated in a transactional law clinic, and contributed to the COVID Coverage Litigation Tracker.

Following his graduation in May 2022, Brendan practiced as an associate attorney at a firm in Brewster, New York, where he represented municipalities, fire districts, and fire departments, as well as private clients in matters involving trusts & estates, real estate, corporate law, and land use.

“Brendan’s experience representing municipalities and his strong foundation in trusts and estates make him an excellent addition to our team,” said Senior Partner Ira Bloom. “We are excited to welcome him to the firm and look forward to the contributions he will make to our clients and our Westport office.”

In addition to his legal practice, Brendan is actively engaged in his community and currently serves as an alternate member of the Town of Monroe Zoning Board of Appeals.

Berchem Moses is proud to welcome Brendan and looks forward to his continued professional growth and success with the firm.
