Congratulations, Mario Coppola, For Being Honored As One Of Fairfield County’s Prestigious 40 Under 40!

Mario Coppola was honored as one of Fairfield County’s best and brightest business leaders under the age of 40 at the 11th annual celebration of the “40 Under 40” Awards held at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, Connecticut, on June 25th. The keynote speaker was Shawn Nelson, Founder and Chairman of LoveSac, one of America’s fastest growing furniture store chains.

Mario Coppola practices in the areas of municipal law, land use and zoning, property tax assessment appeals, real estate transactions and general civil litigation. He has handled many zoning and tax appeal matters from the administrative level through the Connecticut courts.

Attorney Coppola currently serves as Corporation Counsel for the City of Norwalk. He has also served as a Town Attorney for the Town of Trumbull from 2009 to 2013 and an Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of Westport since 2006. Mr. Coppola regularly provides legal representation and services to other municipalities, including the Towns of Easton, Madison, New Canaan and Trumbull.

Mario Coppola is deeply involved in the community. He currently serves as vice president of the Walter Camp Football Foundation and is on the board of directors of the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA. He has served as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Greater New Haven Columbus Day Committee and as an alternate commissioner on the West Haven Zoning Board of Appeals. In addition, Mr. Coppola currently serves on the board of directors of the Connecticut Association of Municipal Attorneys (CAMA). He also is a frequent lecturer on various land use, zoning, property valuation and property tax appeal issues.
