Berchem Moses PC Partners With The CT Association Of Schools To Present The Governor’s Scholars Program

CONNECTTICUT ASSOCIATION OF SCHOLLS | CASSP 1935 | CASS 1953 | CAS 1990

Berchem Moses PC recently partnered with the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS) to sponsor the highly esteemed Governor’s Scholars Program. This year’s award luncheon was held on May 19, 2016 at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington, Connecticut. Senior Partner Michelle Laubin addressed the thirty honorees along with their parents, teachers, and school administrators. These academically talented students will have the opportunity to participate in coursework at more than 30 colleges and universities to earn college credit during their senior year in high school, and qualify for a renewable $5,000 scholarship to UCONN for each of four undergraduate years.

“We are both excited and appreciative of this new partnership,” stated CAS Executive Director Dr. Karissa Niehoff. “The Governor’s Scholars Program gives highly talented students in Connecticut not only the recognition they deserve, but also great opportunities to pursue higher education within our state. Without the support and generosity of Berchem Moses this program would not be possible.”
