Attorney Eileen Lavigne Flug of Berchem Moses PC was recently elected President of the Westport Sunrise Rotary club, effective July 1, 2018. Ms. Flug joined the firm in 2017 as Senior Counsel in the firm’s Westport, Connecticut office where she serves as the appointed Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of Westport.
The Westport Sunrise Rotary is part of Rotary International, an international service organization that brings business and professional leaders together to improve their communities and the world through hands-on service projects, fundraising for local, national and international nonprofits, and youth services. The Westport Sunrise club supports over 30 local charities by raising funds primarily through two signature initiatives: The Great Duck Race, which generates up to $50,000 each June, and Westport Uncorked, a festive wine tasting event held each December at the Inn at Longshore. Berchem Moses is a regular supporter of the Westport Sunrise Rotary’s events.
Eileen Lavigne Flug has been a member of the Westport Sunrise Rotary for more than ten years. In her role as President, she will run the club’s weekly membership meetings and monthly board meetings and will serve as an ex officio board member of the Sunrise Rotary 21st Century Foundation.
