As anticipated, late Monday night, the State legislature extended Governor Lamont’s emergency powers by February 22, 2022. Yesterday, the Governor issued Executive Order No. 14, which extends the deadlines for several previous Orders, including the most recent ones dealing with mandatory vaccines for certain health care workers, state employees, school employees, and those working in childcare facilities.
The deadline for employees to ensure covered workers are in compliance with the requirements of EO 13F and 13G was September 27, 2021. https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/Office-of-the-Governor/Executive-Orders/Lamont-Executive-Orders/Executive-Order-No-13F.pdf; https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/Office-of-the-Governor/Executive-Orders/Lamont-Executive-Orders/Executive-Order-No-13G.pdf
The most recent Order also extends the duration of agency or municipal orders issued pursuant to any unexpired COVID-19 related order. Other Executive Orders not specifically extended by EO 14 will expire on September 30, 2021.
